This tool gets the juice and leaves the pits behind. Even the tiniest seeds are trapped in the fruit. Tip for use: trim the pointy ends off the lemon, then slice it in half. Insert the cut end into the bowl face down; the plunger contacts the pointy side, and turns the fruit inside-out (more or less), extracting the juice. It's much easier than a conventional "twist" style citrus juicer.

I got a juicer of another brand from the Food Network for Christmas and ended up having it break in less than six months. That's when you realize how important construction and material is in a product. The RSVP Endurance is SOLID! The stainless steel construction and design cry out; "I'm going to squeeze a lot of fruit!" And you can probably guess which brand I'm giving for Christmas this year.

I searched for a while to find more of these lemon and lime juicers, to give as gifts. They don't chip, as the enamel ones do, and the ones made for either lemon or lime are, additionally, unnecessarily cumbersome. They are easier to clean, as well. They may be twice as expensive as the enamel ones, but they will last much longer.
