  • Powerful 600-watt motor produces a quart of juice in one minute
  • One of the easiest juicers to clean
  • Extra-wide feed tube accommodates whole apples and tomatoes
  • Large capacity slide-out pulp container
  • Stainless-steel micromesh strainer; base cord-wrap

No need to pre-chop fruits and veggies such as apples, tomatoes, and carrots. Just place them in the chute and push with the pusher. While juicing in bulk, there's no need to disassemble the juice fountain to empty the pulp container, it just slides right out. A powerful motor pushes fruits and veggies through the mesh filter to separate seeds and fiber, maximizing juice output. You can have a glass of juice in 5 seconds, and be through clean up in not much more. The easy clean design has fewer parts and rounded smooth surfaces that can be easily rinsed after use.

Amazon.com Review

Get a nutritious start to your day with fresh tomato, carrot, apple, or orange juice--or invent your own healthy blend. This powerful (and some would say noisy) 600-watt juicer churns out a quart of juice in just one minute. An extra-wide feed tube saves chopping time since it accommodates whole tomatoes, carrots, and small apples, and the removable parts make this one of the fastest juicers to clean. To operate, simply turn the juicer on and insert washed whole or chopped fruits and vegetables through the feed tube--pulp and seeds will shoot out one side into the provided pulp container, and juice will pour out the spout. To catch the juice, you can use either a glass or a provided juice container with lid. The juice container features a handy divider to separate the juice from the froth when pouring. Weighing thirteen pounds, the juice extractor measures 15 by 6-1/2 by 16 inches and comes with a one-year warranty. A helpful instruction booklet that includes tips and recipes is included to get you started. --Ann Bieri
From the Manufacturer
Changing the World, One Apple at a Time…
Unrivalled power meets highest quality components and revolutionary design in this life changing appliance. Touted as North America’s fastest juicer, after being timed making an 8-ounce glass of juice in an astonishing 5 seconds, the world’s fastest juicer might be a more apt description. Designed by innovative, world-renowned engineer Keith Hensel in 1999, the Breville Juice Fountain was the world’s first domestic juicer to accept whole fruit and vegetables with no chopping, peeling, slicing, or dicing.
Named for its ability to produce literally a fountain of continuous juice, where other juicers generate a mere trickle, the JE900 Juice Fountain has seriously changed the way the world looks at juice. Where traditional juice extractors require time consuming preparation, feeding, and cleaning, the Juice Fountain completes the whole home juicing experience in less time than it takes to brew a cup of coffee. The Juice Fountain’s ability to juice whole fruit, to reduce juicing time by up to 90%, and to yield up to 30% more juice, stems from a combination of innovations. Even its unofficial tagline as "a juice bar in your own home" doesn’t do justice to just how fast and convenient the machine is. Thousands of families from Australia to Japan and everywhere in between enjoy fresh, healthy juice every day thanks to the Breville JE900 Juice Fountain.
Amazing Innovations
600-Watt Centered Motor
The Juice Fountain’s motor is positioned directly under the drive shaft so no power is lost in electrical transition or resistance. At 600 watts, the motor is one of the most powerful domestic juicers available, and its centered location directly over the drive shaft means a true 600 watts of power is delivered to the cutter and filter. The higher wattage not only delivers faster and more efficient juicing, it’s also powerful enough to juice regularly without significant stress on the motor.
Patented Center Knife Blade Cutter Assembly
The Juice Fountain is the world’s only large feed tube juicer to feature a centered feed tube and knife blade cutter assembly. Other juicers receive fruit and vegetables toward the circumference of the cutter-blade putting uneven pressure on the cutter and filter. As a result, it is not possible to balance the cutting assembly to attain sufficient speed for optimum juicing. The patented Juice Fountain design accepts fruit directly on to the center of the cutting assembly where a small, dual-bladed Italian made knife shreds the pulp into tiny particles and pushes it against the filter.
Over 14,000 RPMs!
The unique centered cutter assembly, together with the 600 watt motor, allows the Juice Fountain to deliver unparalleled speed to the filter. The Juice Fountain’s Italian micro-mesh filter spins at an incredible 14,500 revolutions per minute. The greater the revolutions, the faster the fruit can be juiced, and the greater the pressure on the pulp against the filter. Breville’s lightning speed filter ‘G-forces’ the maximum amount of juice from the pulp and makes an 8-ounce glass of juice in as little as 5 seconds (tested using apples). The 14,500 rpms of the Juice Fountain compares to about 5,000 rpms on most other juicers.
Italian-Made Stainless Steel Micro Mesh Cutter and Filter
Italian engineering is renowned for its uncompromising quality and eye for detail. The Juice Fountain’s micromesh filter is no exception. Comparing this to other filters it is easy to see that the engineering differences are significant. The filter holes on the Breville filter are so tiny that the individual holes can’t be detected with the naked eye yet the screen is see-through. The thousands and thousands of tiny, micro-mesh holes maximize the juicing surface area to squeeze every last drop of juice from the pulp. Because the holes are so small, they effectively block any seeds, pulp, or rind to deliver nothing but fresh, delicious juice.
3-Inch Wide Feed Tube
The Juice Fountain features the largest circular feed tube of all juicers in America. The unique rounded shape allows for easy insertion of whole apples, pears, tomatoes, peeled oranges, even handfuls of carrots at a time. Where other juicers take several minutes of chopping, peeling, slicing, and dicing, the Breville is large enough and powerful enough to accept whole fruit. This revolutionary design reduces juicing time by up to 90%, making the Juice Fountain a practical way to get natural nutrients and vitamins for the whole family each and every day.
Extra Large Pulp Container
The extra large pulp container is designed to fit a standard plastic grocery bag to capture all the pulp for no-fuss clean up. Because the pulp is exceptionally dry with the Breville Juicer, and the pulp container is so large, it is practical to juice continually for several minutes before the pulp container needs to be emptied. For those that don’t want to waste the pulp, the Juice Fountain’s free instruction manual has delicious recipes for muffins and cakes using the pulp.
Smooth Rounded Dishwasher Safe Parts
Easy cleaning was at the top of the priority list for the Breville design team when engineering the Juice Fountain. Having tested dozens of juicers and spoken to thousands of consumers, the overwhelming response was that juice extractors are just too difficult to clean. The Breville Juice Fountain is a delightful contrast. Not only is the pulp container designed to insert a grocery bag to capture the pulp, but there are only three other parts that require cleaning. All of them are top-shelf dishwasher safe and feature smooth, rounded surfaces that rinse easily under the tap. Even washing by hand takes only seconds as pulp residue slides right off the smooth surfaces. The Juice Fountain comes with a bonus cleaning brush designed to slide effortlessly around the micro-mesh cutter and filter making cleaning a breeze.
Bonus Juice Pitcher with Froth Separator
The Juice Fountain comes with a bonus 1-quart juice pitcher. Like the machine itself, the pitcher is cleverly designed with an adjustable froth separator. Some juice recipes produce a froth residue at the top of the juice and while some consumers enjoy the froth, others would rather drink their juice without it. The easy slide froth separator allows the user to have as little or as much froth as they desire. The bonus pitcher also comes with an air tight lid to store left over juice in the fridge.
The Breville Story
Breville’s first electrical appliance rolled off the factory line in 1932. Over 70 years, and 30 million satisfied customers later, they’re still one of the world’s most innovative name in kitchen electrics. From the world’s first scissor action sandwich maker, to the world’s first juicer to juice whole fruit, Breville continues to bring clever ideas to life. Their renowned design team ensures that every Breville product makes life simpler, works smarter, and looks better, than any other appliance on Earth. Despite Breville’s global success, they only entered the U.S. market in January 2003 and are quickly becoming one of the fastest growing brands in the country. Breville have a proud history of innovation and an uncompromising vision to bring more great ideas to life.

"I'm sure it is a wonderful machine, but...."
 2010-06-29
By Y. Coop (Fairfield, CA)
But, I never got to even try it out. After washing all the parts, reading the instructions, putting it together, plugging it in? It was completely dead, it had no power at all. Evidently this Omega J8003 was defective. From all the reviews, I am sure I would have loved it. Instead, I shipped it back for a refund and purchased the Samson 9001 Single-Gear Juicer and even before I washed it, I checked to see if it would power-up, it did and I am really happy with it.

"Great product!"
 2010-06-22
By fiddle aficionado
This juicer is great! I was afraid that I might not use it enough to justify the purchase, but have grown fond of apple/celery/carrot/fresh ginger combinations. Makes great frozen desserts if you dice fresh fruit, toss with a little sugar (or fructose), freeze and run the mixture through to puree (peaches are especially good). The only problem I had was making pasta - but the problem was not with the equipment, only with the recipe in the juicer's cookbook. If you make pasta, use the recipe from the semolina flour package or from a cookbook.

"Awesome Juicer"
 2010-06-18
By E. Wynja
I had previous owned a Champion juicer, but had problems with the blades dulling and subsequently having to apply a lot of force to push my carrots through. No such problem with this machine. Also, I find juice extraction is much more thorough - I was amazed to get over a cup of juice from 4 good sized carrots! THere is some preparation involved in cutting the vegetables and fruit down to size, but I don't find it that inconvenient. Cleaning the parts just involves throwing them in soapy water and rinsing them off. There is a small screen on the juice extraction piece that may need some scrubbing with a brush, but this screen is a lot smaller than that of the Champion and therefore cleans much more quickly.

"Great Investment"

We came very close to purchasing another brand, which cost less. However, after having this product for a month now and using it on a daily basis I don't regret purchasing the Omega J8003 Juicer. The quality of the juice extracted is more vibrant and I think tastes better compared to the centrifugal juicers. The juicer is very quiet and requires minimal clean-up. If your thinking of getting into juicing this is a great juicer. I'm intrigued by the new Omega VERT juicer and may try that, for now though you cannot go wrong with the J8003 juicer.

"At first"
 2010-05-22
By Ms. T. Hill (Houston, TX)
At first I regretted my decision because it was between this juicer and the so popular Breville. However, after a couple of uses with various fruits and produce, I was happy. Other reviews I read comment on how slow the machine is...well that's because it's taken it's time to get all of the juice out. The easy cleanup makes up for the speed, which is not that slow. Another thing I realize is that the juicer is very portable, and it can go on road trips. The last convincing test was when I juiced berries in a fast juicer and it strewed the berries everywhere-inside the cutting basket and on the inside container. I juiced the same type of berries in the Omega and the pulp came out dry and the cleanup was SO easy. I do not regret my decision at all. This juicer is efficient, portable, and respects fruits and veggies. Stop living life in the fast lane, slow down to reap all of its benefits...one will receive two rewards great juice and eatable pulp.

It has two speeds for soft and hard fruits and a three inch feed tube which minimizes preparation and feeding time. Beautifully designed stainless die cast steel housing and motor body makes it a work of art on the countertop. While juicing, you may notice juice escaping between the plastic juicer cover and the stainless steel filter bowl surround. Try pushing the Food Pusher down more slowly and using the low speed. When large quantities of fruits and vegetables, especially those with high water content such tomatoes and watermelon, are fed into the Feed Chute at a rapid rate, the stainless steel filter basket coverts these into juice so quickly that the force may cause leaking.

"I love this juicer!"
 2010-07-08
By Negin Yazdanpanah (Washington, DC)
I did a lot of research before buying a juicer. I wanted something with a lot of power but at the same time I didn't want to spend a ton of money because I am just getting into this whole juicing thing. I have to say you get a great product with this machine. I juice virtually everything. They even show you how to juice the more difficult things like parsley on their website.( roll it up in spinach leaves). And of all of the juicer I've seen and used this one truelly leaves the least amount of pulp. You get EVERYTHING that fruit or veg has to offer!

You won't be dissapointed.

"My 1st Juicer"
 2010-06-13
By Kathleen Conner (Pacific NW)
I read all the reviews before I purchased my juicer. This juicer got some bad reviews but I don't think it was the juicers fault. If you read the information that comes with the juicer and you use it the way you're suppose to, the juicer works great. I use my juicer 2-4 times a day and I've never had any problems with it.

The juice that comes out of the juicer is not thick and pulpy as I feared it might be, it is just the right consistency and this juicer gets all the juice out of my produce.

"Powerless Juicer"
 2010-06-05
By Ted Campbell (Iron River, Mi USA)
I purchased the jack lalanne`s juicer and only used it three times and the motor stopped and just started humming while I was juicing some beet roots. When I tried to restart it all it did was just hum and would not start back up. So I returned it back to amazon. The only good experience I received was the no hassel return from amazon which will keep me as a customer. I had also returned an instyler product before with no hassel. After returning the juicer I purchased the breville juice fountain elite. It cost more and now I know why. It is totally awesome and extremely powerful and easier to clean. My recommendation would be to spend the extra money and get way more than you will pay for. Watch this juicer in action on [...] with Martha Stewart.

"Buy Omega"
 2010-06-01
By Gerald L. Kantin (Carson City NV)
It is a wonderful looking machine, but it doesn't work. There is an automatic shut-off switch and you cannot keep this machine running.

As soon as I fed a carrot into the machine, it stopped running. Then you must wait 10 minutes for it to operate again. This occurred

a number of times. I called the tech and he gave me instructions, but I could not keep the machine running. After much frustration, I gave up and returned it. I bought an Omega juicer and it is wonderful. It works! If it does jam, there is a reset button on the bottom of the machine, no waiting for 10 minutes to run again. I did not need it because the juicer kept running. It was the same type of juicer as the LaLane model, but it just works. I never did see how the LaLane juicer works because I could not get it to keep running long enough. I admire Jack LaLane, but whoever designs his juicers had better go to square one.

Waring JEX328 Health Juice Extractor

Waring JEX328 Health Juice Extractor

Product By Waring
Lowest Price : $49.99

Technical Details

  • High-speed 400-watt motor
  • Brushed stainless-steel housing eliminates stains
  • Compact strainer, pulp collector, lid, and juice collector are all dishwasher-safe
  • Five-year limited warranty on the motor, one-year limited appliance warranty

Product Description

The features that make the Waring blender so popular are shared by their juice machine: powerful, simple to operate, durable commercial quality construction, and a great warranty backing it up. The extra wide feed tube and simple canister type juice collector, in conjunction with a simple on/off power switch make this pretty goof-proof.

Amazon.com Review

Juicing is a healthful way to eat fruits and veggies, and the Waring Juice Extractor takes juicing to the next level. A high-speed 400-watt motor makes the extraction process efficient, and makers of carrot juice will especially appreciate the brushed stainless-steel housing--the extractor won't turn orange with age. Everyone who's ever owned a juicer knows that cleanup is the biggest downfall of home juicing. With the Waring, that won't be an issue--the compact strainer, pulp collector, lid, and juice collector are all dishwasher-safe, and the stainless-steel body wipes clean with a sponge. The extractor's die-cast base stays steady on the countertop, and its cushioned feet will minimize vibration, protecting the countertop from scratches. The extractor comes with an instruction book, a five-year limited warranty on the motor, and a one-year limited appliance warranty. --Ariel Meadow Stallings

"My Waring Juicing Machine Review"
 2010-07-12
By J. Brooks (Yonkers, NY)
After washing it, I tried it out for the first time. I like it. I hated the carrot juice, but I like the machine. It took about 16 minutes to clean --the strainer basket with the attached shredder took about 5 minutes of those minutes to scrub (yes scrub) clean. I made a carrot and apple juice mix. Yuck!!!

Update:

I really like the machine. I like the idea that I can get a good dose of vegetables on a daily basis (something I haven't really been doing). I also like that the machine is relatively quiet. The blender is much, much noisier. The cleanup of the juicer is fairly easy. I originally timed the cleanup of the juice at about 16 minutes. Today, the time was closer to 12 minutes. Half of the time cleaning comes from cleaning the shredding/strainer disk. The cheap brush provided really isn't doing the greatest job. I'll probably have to use a toothbrush to clean the shredding/straining disk.

Oh, I noticed that the juicer really should be clean soon after using. Today, I wanted to go to the store. I did leave the shredding/straining disk soaking, but leaving the machine with the pulp in caused condensation of the pulp juice into the area under the pulp-collection basket and spinner (not the easiest place to clean if you get food or juice there). I think the juicer is fairly easy to clean if you don't let the food sit in it too long. I can see it becoming a nightmare to clean if the food hardens and dries out.

I forgot to mention in my previous entry that the fruit and/or vegetables need to be dry before using the juicing machine. At first, I washed the vegetables right before putting them in the machine, this just produced extra moisture in the pulp. The excess water on the f/v seems to add to the pulp, but not the juice. Another (minor) problem is that if the food going in is wet, it causes the food pusher to not slide down easily; I think I've solved that by rubbing cooking oil on the push.

"Excellent juicer with ease of use and low pulp. Great price. Works better than the more expensive ones."
 2010-06-07
By S. Tatineni (New York, USA)
I find this juicer very easy to use with only a few parts to assemble/dissemble and clean. It's really easy to use. I find this better than one of the breville juicers I owned which is almost 4 times as expensive as this one. Cleaning is a breeze with this. Also, not too much fruit/vegetable wastage via pulp. In a nutshell, a simple, cheap and excellent juicer. No need to buy more expensive juicers. Just waste of money.

"It works but not well."
 2010-05-15
By LC
We purchased this juicer about 5 years ago; we had it about two years before it killed over. It does work and the price is affordable but you get what you pay for as the more often true than not saying goes. It is quite loud and you do not get much juice from it. Cleaning it was OK. We have upgraded to the Breville BJE200XL.

"Excellent Product"
 2010-05-11
By Leon Paparo (Delaware County, PA)
I received my juicer today and found it simple to use, easy to clean, and very, very good at producing delicious, healthy juice. 1 apple, 2 strawberries, 4 carrots and 2 celery stalks produced just about 24oz of perfectly extracted juice. You cannot beat this juicer for the price and quality. I'd recommend this to anyone who is looking for an affordable, reliable juicer.

"juicer works fine."

By Perian Dunmire (Hilton Head, SC.)
There is nothing wrong with the juicer, but, I am allergic to fresh fruit & some veges. I thought I have been on shots long enough to build my resistance, but I wasn't. That, is the only reason it did not work out for me! Thank-you, and accepy my apologies, Perian Dunmire

With a capacity of more than a quart (34 ounces), this electric juicer can prepare family-size portions with little operator effort. Large and small cones fit on the reamer to accommodate different-size fruits. The reamer automatically reverses itself to extract the maximum amount of juice, while a stirrer presses juice from the pulp in the strainer. Finally, there's an adjustable control that regulates how much pulp goes into the juice, a feature margarita fanciers will welcome. For storage, the cord wraps in a slot around the base, and a cover protects against dust. Hand wash this juicer in warm soapy water. --Fred Brack Editor's Choice:A great first juicer, or a good juicer for someone who doesn't juice every day, Black & Decker's CitrusMate Plus citrus juicer is our choice for best citrus juicer under $50. It will fit into every budget and still deliver lots of fresh juice. This juicer is extremely easy to use, as you just install the cone you want to use (it comes with two cones, making it adaptable for different sizes of fruit), plug it in, and press the fruit down into the cone. Then it goes to work automatically.

"good juicer but handle broke"
 2010-07-16
By R. Delaney (California)
The juicer works very well at extracting juice from oranges lemon and limes (haven't tried it with grapefruit). The handle is the weak point. Mine broke while I was drying it with a towel. I didn't feel like I was putting all that much pressure on it. Now I need a new carafe. The lid is kinda useless unless you are storing it for an extended time. It needs time to dry out between uses; the lid would make that difficult and promote the growth of mold/mildew. You can put the carafe and reamers in the dishwasher but you will have to wash the strainer part by hand. The larger reamer fits over the smaller one and that seems to work well. The largest opening was letting small seeds in the orange into the juice. The middle setting keeps that from happening and is fine with me. Good juicer except for the handle. I juice oranges about 10 everyday. It doesn't seem to have much problem with them. I agree with other posters that say that it is easy to juice. The raised ridges on the reamers do a good job on the oranges with little effort.

"Reviews made this sound great" 2010-07-14
By M. Johnson (New York)
The first week we had it, we loved this juicer and made several containers of OJ. Around week 3-4, the motor started clicking and slipping when we pushed down hard, so we stopped pushing hard. Keep in mind that when I say "hard" I mean about 10 lbs of force with one hand, less than you would use for a manual juicer.

Long story short, after another week the clicking got worse, and we had to use progressively less and less force. Now it is so flimsy it doesn't work well at all, and to get it to work (I kid you not) I have to use earplugs because the clicking is so loud. The machine is light plastic and inexpensive, so I can't really say I'm surprised. I have to imagine that most of these other reviewers wrote their reviews in the first few weeks of use when it worked great.

If you juice oranges a few times a month, then this juicer is for you. If you want regular juice, then I would recommend another brand/model.

"Little Power House Juicer - No Mess Left"

Before ordering a juicer, I was concerned that the juices may fly out and hit my shirt and walls.

I am happy to report that never a splatter of juice has occurred (and I do not use the cover), after making 10 gallons of lemonade and a pitcher of orange juice.

I use to squeeze the lemons carefully by hand (and with love). This juicer is increasing the juice output by 2/3rds over hand squeezing

I find that this operates very quickly, with no mess, and is easy to clean in the dishwasher.
I highly recommend this juicer, it will allow you to quickly make healthy fruit drinks.

"A good buy"

I bought this juicer several years ago, and have been very happy with it. It is small, so it doesnt take up a lot of storage space, and its relatively inexpensive compared to some of the other juicers on the market.

Its easy to use, there arent a lot of attachments to keep track of. If all u want is an orange juicer, this is all u need. There's nothing as good as fresh squeezed orange juice!

This juicer is wonderful. I previously squeezed lemons for lemonade by hand. This juicer makes the job easy and it is much quicker.

"New to juicing, but wow!" 2010-07-15
By Lorenzo R. Hodges (Los Angeles, CA United States)
I have been using this everyday. Being a "normal guy" I was afraid of the cleanup process but the design makes it easy to get it done. The amount of juice you get is great too! Two carrots, half a beet, and an orange will make enough juice for two. And since the pulp is relatively dry I am assuming it's doing its job. My friends and neighbors will be getting one of these soon too now that I am forcing juice on everyone. One a weird side note: It was ten dollars cheaper when I bought it just weeks ago at $89. What's that about? Who knows maybe my friends are buying them up like crazy?

"Not bad"

I have had this Juicer for a month now. I use it a lot. I will give the pros and cons of this product

Pros:

#1.Since it is a vertical machine it is a great space saver for limited spaces.
#2.It takes about 5 minutes to clean

Cons:

#1.You can only make about two glasses of juice before you have to clean the machine to remove all the pulp and fiber in order to make some more.
#2.It has a hard time going through beets.
#3.Everything that goes into it doesn't always get juiced. Some of the veggies bounce off the blades and go into the fiber container without extracting all of it's juice.

It's a good basic machine. The design is smart but it does take away from getting the most out of juicing each veggie or fruit.

=) Live, Laugh, and Love.. Peace, joy, happiness, health, & wealth.

"Easy and Fast way to Start Juicing"
 2010-07-08
By Queen of the Click (Brooklyn, NY United States)
I ordered this juicer after reading the Amazon reviews and seeing some complaints about other juicers in Consumer Reports.

I'm delighted with this juicer because it was so easy to start juicing. I opened the box and took out the machine and it's parts. I washed them and snapped it back together very easily. The way this juicer goes together is one of the most positive aspects. It's improved the design of many other well known juicers.

After it's together, you turn it on and then you start putting the veggies and fruits in. Most get sucked into the machine. A few vegetables like broccoli I had to push down with the plunger tool. I was able to put in full stalks of broccoli, big slices of pineapple with the skin and halved pears with no problem. This machine has a very powerful motor. After I made a great mixture, I poured it into a glass with ice and set it aside with a straw.

Would clean up be a chore? It took me three minutes to take the machine apart and clean everything. I had to scoop the almost dry vegetable and fruit mixture out of the container and then rinse it clean. I then took the brush that they provided and scrubbed the tight mesh basket that I removed from the center of the machine. I think it was mostly stained from the broccoli and strawberries. The brushed cleaned the mesh basket easily.

I went and drank the juice. It was delicious.
I read that some people thought that this machine was noisy. It does make noise, but it's wasn't annoying.
I am delighted with my purchase and would highly recommend this machine. I am a pretty picky person so the machine has to be good or else I would complain.

"powerful and easy!"

I have been using this juicer every single day for almost a month now and I love it! It is very powerful, no problem juicing carrots, beets, celery, apples, etc. very easy to clean as well. It comes with a brush that can be used to clean the pulp and also cleans the rotating part, which needs a hard brush for that. I recommend it to anyone who wants a fresh juice with no hassle. all my friends are now looking at this same product as they are so impressed with delicious juices!
